Summer Time Skincare Routine ! (Dry/Sensitive skin)

Hello Beauties! I'm back with another post , today i'm going to share with you how i take care of my skin during summer . Obviously the products that i use during winter are quite heavy for this time of year so i tend to change some products and replace them with a lighter summer appropriate version .
I have dry skin which is a pain to take care of during winter but when it's warmer i don't struggle as much with finding the right products. So without further ado These are the products that i love using :

Morning Routine :

In the mornings i like to use a mild face wash , i love using cream cleansers as they are gentle on the skin . I recently discovered the L'Oreal Hydra-Total 5 gentle face cleanser aiming people who have dry and sensitive skin and i love it . It is exactly what you would look for in a mild morning cleanser , it does not dry my skin out and it leaves it soft . Then i follow it with the La Roche Posay thermal water which is a holy grail of mine if you have dry sensitive skin go get it ! I use it as a toner , i spray it on my face and it soothes any redness or dry patches that i have on my face .
For my eye cream i like using the Sensibio eye gel from Bioderma i follow it up with the Sensibio Light face moisturizer , when it's hot you want to use a light moisturizer even if you have dry skin , This one is perfect it provides the skin with the perfect amount of moisture without overwhelming it and it makes a perfect base for makeup .

Night Routine :

At the end of the day i like to take my makeup as quickly as i can and go to sleep ,I use the Garnier Express eye makeup this is my fourth bottle of it as it does a great job removing my eye makeup then i follow it up with the Body Shop's Cleansing oil , this is a recent discovery of mine i use two pumps and massage it on my face i rinse it and dissolves with the water ,however , for me it is not enough i like to double cleanse i follow it up with the Hydra-Total 5 from L'oreal and finally i like to use a scrub the one that i use is the Garnier Pure active Scrub and i only use it on my T-Zone as i have sensitive skin .The Toner that i use is always the Thermal water from La roche Posay and my night cream is the Nuxe First wrinkles Smoothing cream it is quite heavy so i skip the eye cream . If occasionally i have a blemish i use the Effaclar M from la roche posay which is a mattifying cream and it does wonders . Also if you have very dry lips try the Body Shop's Hemp lip conditioner it is the Best!

So there you go i hope that you have found this useful and that you can relate to it if you have dry skin too .
What are some of you favorite skincare products ?

Hearts of the Moments ❤ !

Hello beauties . It's that time again !  time for what i have been Hearting lately , this time it's only limited to makeup , skincare  , without further ado let's get started :

Makeup

1 - My first favorite is the Naked 2 by Urban decay , i have finally put my hands on it and i love it ! The colors are rich , pigmented and smooth , easy to blend It is PERFECT !

2- This product is by far the best peachy , bronzy blush that offers a subtle glow perfect for summer .I'm impressed by this brand especially the silky touch blushes .

3- I have heard greaaat things about this mascara for a while now that i decided to pick it up ,and i'm quite pleased with it it does offer volume and length it does not FLAKE which is huge for me since most mascaras flake on me , I highly recommend it !

4- These lip stains are amazing i have already talked about them on the blog , quite pigmented and long lasting love them !

Skincare

1- I have ran out of my beloved Bioderma and i decided to try something new . I picked up the Silky Oil Cleanser from The Body Shop and i quite like it however you do need to double cleanse because it leaves a bit of an oil residue . But it removes makeup beautifully .

2- Hands down the best SPF that i have ever used , quite moisturizing but not greasy and with an SPF of 50 you can't beat that for the price !

3- The last product is a body cream , i have very dry skin so finding the perfect moisturizer can be a pain , but not anymore ! I have fallen in love with the Nivea body milk for dry skin it is very nourishing and the smell is to die for .

Thank you for stopping by ! Have a magical Day :)

Makeup revolution : Vivid blush & Eyeshadow review !

Hello Beauties , i'm back with a mini review . Today i'll be reviewing makeup revolution's makeup , i was very excited to finally order some products from the brand and try them out , and boy i was very pleasantly surprised by the quality ! Let's hop on to the review :

First of all i ordered two products , the vivid blush lacquer and the mono eyeshadow in "Envy".I was looking for a dark green eye shadow and a cream blush since spring is Here !

The eye shadow comes in a basic plastic packaging but very sturdy , the brand offers a huge variety of colors and textures , this one is a matte dark green . When i first swatched it i was blown away by the pigmentation ,it is very very pigmented and the color is very intense a little goes a long way , it is easy to apply very smooth and easily blendable , however it has a little bit of fall outs which is something that does not surprise me at this price point and this remains the only con .

Now the blush is my favorite out of the two , it has everything that i was looking for in a cream blush. Again it is very pigmented , the color is a very beautiful peach , a little goes a long way and it does not leave the cheeks patchy it s very hydrating and ultra blendable leaving the cheeks with a gorgeous natural flush . I definitely recommend this , i'm actually thinking about getting the other shades. Definitely a go to product for the "no makeup" makeup look .

Products swatches : Eyeshadow in "Envy", Blush in "Heat"

Overall i'm very pleased with the products , the quality is great and the products are very affordable.I'm planning on getting the pallettes , the highlighters and  the lipsticks , stay tuned for another review .

Review : Catrice Mono eyeshadows

Hello Beauties ! Today i will be reviewing the Catrice Mono Eyeshadows , there are some great products that i have tried from this brand one of them is the Made to stay cream shadows that i have already reviewed  Here their blushes are great too ! Let's hope on to the review :

First of all there is a very wide range of shades to choose from ; there is mattes to glittery to satin finishes . I ordered 4 shades :

- My first Cooperware party ( a nice coppery shade)
- Go, Charlie Brown ( a matte brown)
- C'mon Chameleon (a brown base with green reflections)
- Ultra violet ( a true violet leaning towards blue )

Pigmentation : Very pigmented when swatched and on the eyes

Longevity : For me this is the biggest Con that makes these products not worth it they don't last for more that an hour before creasing ; except for The Shade "Ultra Violet" which is the most long lasting one , and the Go Charlie brown Shade which was useless for my eyes so i decided to use it for my eyebrows and it works like a charm !

Blending : They Blend easily but they are a little bit powder-y

Finishes : They vary from Satin to Shimmer to Mattes

Texture : Very smooth

Fallout : Minimal

Packaging : Very Sturdy , and the fact that it is clear helps to detect easily the colors

Color selection : A very wide range of colors with different finishes

Have you tried these before  , Feel free to share your opinion !

Review : Yves Rocher Pure Light Foundation

Hello Beauties ! i'm back with another review , recently i wanted to try a new foundation and get out of my comfort zone , since i have been using only my holy grail fit me foundation . So i decided to get the Pure light foundation from Yves Rocher i was looking for a luminous finish foundation, i actually came across some great reviews about the product before i purchased it .
So did i liked it or Not ? Let's hop on to the review to find out !

Pure Light Foundation Claims :

Its ultra-fresh light moisturizing texture is easy to apply uniformly. It provides maximum comfort for a sensation of no make-up and impeccable natural coverage. The skin's texture is visibly smoothed and the complexion is uniform. The skin breathes, the complexion is perfect, radiant and luminous.

Beauty bonus:Its practical elongated pump dispenser for a better grip

Key botanical ingredients:rice extract, cornflower water, soy extract, vitamin E.
Tested under dermatological control.

My Experience with the product :

First of all i ordered this foundation online when i got it the main thing that drew my attention is the Smell ! i was very unpleasantly surprised it has a very strong fragrance it reminded me of a nail polish remover so to me it looked a bit cheap after that my excitement was diminished because of the smell : I was very bumped about it since i have sensitive skin .

The second thing is it is described as a natural luminous foundation so you would expect it to have a dewy radiant finish , i have dry skin so i was really excited about that but unfortunately it accentuated the dryness that i have on my forehead and underneath my eyes as well as in the corner of my nose ( by the way i always moisturize and apply eye cream before applying my makeup) .

The third thing that i noticed is the finish it is not dewy at all , it a has a matte finish , the name is a little bit misleading ; the longevity though is quite decent  it lasts for a good amount of time on my skin .

And the last thing that i want to mention in that it has a wide range of shades , my shade is Beige 200 fair complexion ,which is perfect for me , here is a swatch !

Let's hop on to the summary :

Pro's :

Decent coverage

Longevity

Large range of Shades

Would be perfect for combination/oily skin

Con's :

Fragrance

Misleading name since it has a matte finish instead of a dewy one

If you have dry skin you won't like it

Not moisturizing

I find that with my dry skin it does not suit me , as i  mentioned it accentuates my dry patches , the fragrance is a huge turn off for me , and i don't find the finish to be very natural you can definitely see that you are wearing foundation  ; over all i'm going to retry it during summer when the weather is more humid and i'll post an update .
